Import custom Brushes psp 8&9--MsKris

Step 1 - Activate Import Dialog
To import custom brushes from previous versions of PSP, choose File...Import...Custom Brush.


Step 2 - Select the Brush Files
On the Import Custom Brush dialog, click the Open button and browse to the folder that contains the custom brushes files. Select the brush files you want to add by clicking on the .jbr file names:

* To add all brushes, click in the list window and choose CTRL + A.
* To add a range of brush files, click on the first brush file, hold down the SHIFT key and click on the last brush file in the range.
* To select only certain brush files, hold down the CTRL key while clicking on the brush files to add.

Click the Open button when you have selected the brush files you want to add. The selected brush files will open in the left window of the Import Custom Brush dialog. You will see the individual brush tips that are within the brush file(s).

Step 3 - Select and Add the Brushes
To add all brushes, click the Add All button. To add only certain brushes, hold down the CTRL key and click the brushes you want to add. Then release the CTRL key and click the Add button.

Step 4 - Import the Brushes
When you have finished adding the brush tips you want, click OK to import the custom brushes.
Notes and Tips:
:mark Two files will be added to your default brush folder for each brush tip imported: the brush tip itself, and a PspScript file containing the brush settings, such as size, hardness, density, rotation, thickness, and step.
:mark If you download PSP8 brushes that consist of 2 files - a PspBrush file and a PspScript file - just place them in your Brushes folder and you can use them immediately.
:mark If you download PSP8 brushes that consist of only a PspBrush file, they will have to be imported just like previous version brush files before they can be used.
